The future of the digital diary for hemophilia is going to be big!

Now it’s official!

After more than 10 years with our hemophilia diary smart medication eDiary, we are taking new paths. As of GTH 2023, we are joining forces and setting out into a new future with florio HAEMO! Together with Florio GmbH, opens in a new tab, a new, innovative electronic hemophilia diary is being created. All the advantages of the two leading, internationally established platforms are being combined into one new platform, for the benefit of patients and their physicians.

Firmly established in therapy

In 2010, smart medication eDiary started as an independent patient diary for hemophilia. With the goal of connecting physicians and patients, it became one of the first medical device apps developed in Germany. Over the years, the original research project of Philipps University Marburg grew into a multi-award-winning ecosystem with interfaces to the German Hemophilia Register, connections to study groups and hospital information systems, and the integration of pharmacies. Together with the Association for the Promotion of Telemedicine in Hemostaseology (VFTH e.V.), the diary was continuously refined and expanded. By now, more than 1,500 patients in 45 hemophilia treatment centers have been served by our diary solution.

florio HAEMO, opens in a new tab is a digital medical device developed by Florio GmbH to support people with hemophilia and their care teams. florio HAEMO has been available since 2020 and has already been launched in more than 20 countries. Its unique, user-centered design has been recognized with the iF design award.

After 13 years, it is now time to shape the future with a strong partner. We are delighted to take this step with the innovative team at Florio GmbH. With our combined know-how and many years of experience, an innovative and future-proof hemophilia platform for our patients will emerge.
