smart medication Price Calculator – Compare therapy costs transparently
Which therapy option is the most economical over one year, over five, or over fifteen? The smart medication Price Calculator answers this question at the push of a button: it compares the costs of possible treatment programs – e.g. in hemophilia – and identifies the most advantageous treatment method.
The web application is aimed at sales and market access teams of pharmaceutical companies as well as healthcare professionals who want to assess therapy alternatives from an economic perspective. It compares products from different manufacturers on a uniform data basis.
What the Price Calculator can do

- Multilingual, with staff management and usage statistics for use in teams

Deliberately without patient data
The Price Calculator is built to work without personal patient data: the only calculation parameters are body weight, age, and disease type – anonymous values that cannot be attributed to any individual. No patient data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
Operation, hosting, and support take place – as with all smart medication applications – on our own servers in Germany.
Developed by smart medication, sponsored by Sobi
The Price Calculator was developed by smart medication and is operated by us. The application is sponsored by Sobi (Swedish Orphan Biovitrum). The calculation itself is manufacturer- and product-independent: products from different manufacturers are compared on the same data basis.
