Telemedicine ideal for physician-supervised home self-treatment in hemophilia

Presentation of the platform and the people behind smart medication. For patients with hemophilia, who often live far away from the hemophilia treatment center that cares for them, telemedicine — and specifically the innovative telemetry platform smart medicationTM — offers excellent support for physician-supervised home self-treatment. How telemedicine can contribute to improving medical care in Germany was discussed by experts and patient representatives at a symposium in Münster organized by the Association for the Advancement of Telemedicine in Hemostaseology (VFTH).
