Reference to a report (in German) on immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and the benefits of smart medication ITP: “Langfristige Remissionen und mehr Lebensqualität mit Romiplostim. Leitlinien-Updates spiegeln Veränderungen in der Therapie wider” – ITP Assembly 2019. At this year’s ITP Assembly, updates to national and international guidelines were presented, among other topics. These updates were overdue, as thrombopoietin receptor agonists (TRAs) such as romiplostim in particular have profoundly changed therapy.
