eHealth Kongress 2022

This year’s eHealth-Kongress #eHealthFFM22 took place in Frankfurt am Main on October 5. 🏛

In the afternoon, Andreas Roesch and David Schmoldt each moderated a panel on digitalization in hospitals #KHZG, opens in a new tab and in nursing care.

The congress participants followed the keynote (Susanne Ozegowski) and the subsequent panel discussion very actively. Digitalization in Germany is progressing rather sluggishly — companies often fail to engage with the all-important user experience, which in turn leads to long onboarding times for the software they develop, while the benefits remain limited. That is why we need to communicate with each other far more intensively in software development and involve all stakeholders.

Surprising — and exemplary of the high barriers to entry into Germany’s highly regulated healthcare market — was the fact that virtually no startups were represented. And yet everyone agreed that innovation must be promoted and that young people therefore absolutely need to be involved 🤔
