GTH 2023

This year’s meeting of the Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis Research (GTH) took place in Frankfurt from February 21 to 24, 2023, and offered participants a broad spectrum of scientific lectures and symposia on current topics in hemostaseology.

A central topic was the advancing digitalization of medicine. CSL Behring and BioMarin presented their latest developments in gene therapy. The gene therapies for patients with hemophilia A and B have now been approved by the EMA.

Fittingly, we were able to present our new software smart medication Gene. It enables documentation of the entire gene therapy treatment, including the follow-up period, in a user-friendly collaboration platform. You can find this year’s poster contributions here.

As a special highlight, this year’s booth offered the opportunity to network with colleagues and industry experts and to exchange experiences. There were plenty of occasions to make new contacts, deepen existing relationships, and initiate new projects. All in all, the 2023 GTH meeting in Frankfurt was a trailblazing event that provided a comprehensive look into the future of hemostaseology.
