At this year’s eHealth-Kongress in Frankfurt, our two managing directors Dr. David Schmoldt, opens in a new tab and Dr. Andreas Roesch, opens in a new tab each moderated a panel with exciting perspectives on the targeted use of #AI, opens in a new tab in #healthcare, opens in a new tab.

Once again this year we were represented with our own booth, and we would like to give a brief look at the exciting developments we were able to present.

💪 Distral project on joint health, in collaboration with TU Darmstadt

We are developing an app that enables precise motion analysis using nothing but the smartphone’s own camera, so that cumbersome markers are no longer needed. Combined with motivating gamification principles, this is, in our view, the future of #physiotherapy, opens in a new tab, because it promotes patient adherence.

🏥 Gene therapy – a new era in #medicine, opens in a new tab

#Genetherapy, opens in a new tab has been given the green light in Germany and was recently administered (commercially) to the first patient. We are proud to support the patient journey on the physicians’ side with our specialized software. It ensures precise documentation and takes collaboration between healthcare professionals to a new level (hub & spoke). Our patient app offers knowledge about gene therapy, makes it easy to quickly contact the treatment center, optimizes appointment management, and much more.

Of course, there are challenges on our path to innovation in the German healthcare system. Overregulation can significantly hamper innovation, especially in the field of medical devices, and particularly for small SMEs like us.

We recognize these problems and are determined to tackle them!
