New in ScanDoc: vaccination documentation for pharmacies

Since July 2, 2026, pharmacies in Germany may vaccinate adults with all vaccines that are not live vaccines. Every vaccination comes with documentation under Section 35a (5) of the Pharmacy Operating Regulations (ApBetrO) and Section 22 of the Infection Protection Act (IfSG).

Since October 12, 2026, smart medication ScanDoc has offered its own vaccination documentation for this. It records a vaccination in a single record: counseling, medical history, consent, vaccination, supporting documents, vaccination certificate and the data set for the Robert Koch Institute. Counseling and vaccination can take place on different days, drafts can be saved at any time, and the mandatory details are checked before confirmation. Once completed, every record is locked and fully logged.

Vaccinating ScanDoc pharmacies can choose to appear as vaccinating pharmacies in the list of participating pharmacies.
