DIN SPEC 91380 | Serious Games Metadata Format

In June 2018, DIN SPEC 91380 “Serious Games Metadata Format (SG-MDF)” was published. It defines the semantic foundations for a standardized description of serious games — from games for education and health to applications used for therapeutic purposes. Dr. David Schmoldt was a member of the DIN SPEC consortium, which, on the initiative of Dr.-Ing. Stefan Göbel (TU Darmstadt), brought together participants from around 40 industry and research organizations in the PAS process.
